Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

On October 11th, we held a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the completion of phase I of our Handicap Accessible and Building Renovation Campaign. We still have a lot of work to do but we wanted to take time to thank everyone for helping us get this far. This is a great accomplishment for us and a wonderful benefit to our Ishpeming community. Thank you!

From TV6:

An update for Ishpeming's historic library: The staff from the Carnegie Library held a ribbon cutting for the completion of two new wheelchair ramps

Complete!

The ramps are complete! Including the new automatic door. The only thing left is the stain which will match the color of the building. The stain will not be applied until the spring when the weather is warmer.

Hello, Everyone!

I apologize for this long delay in blog updates, but since the last post, Ishpeming Carnegie Public Library has changed library directors. My name is John McNaughton, and as the new director I will be posting on here from now on, keeping you up to date with all the latest news on our Handicap Accessible Campaign. And even though Cindy Mack, our former director, has moved on to a new position downstate, she is still very much involved with our renovation campaign. So if you have any questions for either of us, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Thank you!

John
